As much as possible the setup and synchronization with Quickbooks is now completely
automated. The first time you use the program Qucikbooks will ask you several times
if you wish to allow the Download manager permission to access and alter your Company file.
You must allow it to do so.
- Start Quickbooks first
- Start the Quickbooks download manager
- Go to File > Preferences
- Select Quickbooks settings tab.
- Select the Income account for new items (products
in an order) to be linked to when they are added into Quickbooks.
- Select whether you want shopping cart orders to be treated
as an Invoice or a Sales receipt.
- Select User accounts tab
- Enter your shopping cart username, payments password and login password. If
you have forgetten them go here! You can also enter a description for your website too.
- Click the green tick button to store your user details

- Click on the Close button
- Close the program and then re-open it in order to ensure the
connection with your copy is of Quickbooks is working correctly.
To use the program simply click to Download new orders from the cart and then click again to
Transfer them to Quickbooks. We would strongly recommend you check that the new orders have been
transfered correctly!
